Salt System Cell Cleaning – The Cell shown above is the part of the salt system that changes Sodium Chloride (Salt) into Chlorine. A cell is plumbed on the pipes after the heater. There is an indicator in the panel that lets the serviceman know that the cell needs to be cleaned. Typically, a cell should be cleaned every 4-6 month in a residential pool. More often in a commercial one.
