Weekly Service

Most residential pools are serviced once a week. Most commercial pools are serviced minimum of twice a week. Some commercial pools need to be serviced every day, this all depends on the number of people that use the pool.

In a typical service day pool gets skimmed, vacuumed, brushed and checked for levels of chemicals. Chlorine or Sodium hypochlorite is used to kill bacteria and algae. Also, in a typical service day Hydrochloric acid or Muratic acid is added to the pool to lower the PH of the water. Optimal PH for a pool is 7.4 – 7.6, at this PH chlorine is much more effective. Sometimes algaecide is needed to kill algae or prevent algae from growing.

Pool equipment is inspected on each service day. Also, Skimmer and pump basket is cleaned on service day.
